I love food! So naturally, I enjoy playing around with different flavors and textures to create healthy meals that nourish both myself and my four year old daughter. With a vibrant, colorful meal on our plates, I feel like I am really taking care of myself and my family. Slowly transitioning from amateur cook to chef extraordinaire :)
I grew up in sunny South Florida eating salads of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber so that's where I started when I moved out of home. I moved to Australia to study about 8 years ago, which definitely was a big change to my usual foods.
Slowly, I am adding new favorites to my recipe book, and now I love trying different, and sometimes more complex, salads depending on my mood, the weather, and basically whatever we feel like.
Love my salad is a great link to connecting with like-minded people and I love the educational aspect that lets me learn about new foods, how to cook them, and what they pair with. Looking forward to contributing to this great community!
