Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp of yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp of fresh herbs (parsley, chives, dill)
  • salt and pepper

This creamy yogurt sauce is perfect with a variety of Middle Eastern specialties.

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients and bring to taste with salt and pepper.
The sauce is already great if you use the yoghurt, mayonnaise, garlic and 1 sort of herbs. In case you add the extra ingredients it becomes tastier;-)

Tips from the author

This sauce goes well with so many things, on a salad, with french fries, on grilled vegetables, with falafel, with meat, as a dip with raw vegetables like cucumber, celery or carrots.
