Salt free vegetables for baby Gaia

I was concerned about the level of salt in foods, so throughout the first year of baby Gaia's life, my aim was not to add salt at all.

The main method of cooking that I used to prepare my vegetables (and still use for the whole family) is steaming. I think this enhances the flavour of vegetables, as well as preserves the main nutritional values.

I seasoned my vegetables with a little oil (and after the first year for Gaia with just a little salt) in order to allow Gaia the opportunity to appreciate the original flavours of each vegetable which is, in my opinion, important to recognise and differentciate between the many various flavours added to sauces and fried meals.
