EUROVEG company was founded in 2005, when the joint idea of creating an enterprise that would enter into co-operation with vegetable producers from central Poland came up. The main goal of the EUROVEG’s activities is to assure the top quality and the microbiological security of the crops on all distribution levels, starting from a producer and ending up with a consumer.
The basic products of EUROVEG are lettuces of all types (butterhead, ornamental, iceberg, Cos, Salanova®), radish, Chinese cabbage, white cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli.
Attaching a great importance to the quality as well as to a hundred-percent effectiveness in executing the orders, the products offered by the company are constantly controlled by the Quality Department, along the whole production process – from sowing, through production, harvest, ending on the sales.
In order to realize those goals successfully, in 2006 EUROVEG introduced a quality management system, in accordance with the ISO 22000:2005 and since 2011 the company has been systematically increasing the cultivations’ acreages, controlled and certified within GLOBAL G.A.P.
In 2011 EUROVEG representatives decided to launch a sale of Salanova® lettuce, from Rijk Zwaan and to propagate this product into the Polish market. The sales of two lettuces, red and green, in flow-packs, contributed to wining the ‘Product of the Year 2012” award, during the Fresh Market 2012 conference.
Currently, the very same actions are organized in relation to Cos lettuce mini, which is also sold in a two-pack, with red and green lettuces inside.
