I‘m a salad lover who is passionate about vegetables and the flavours, the colours and simple combinations that you can prepare with wonderful fresh produce.

As a founding member, I’m actively involved in our Love My Salad ‘project’ which is supported by Rijk Zwaan, the company I’ve worked with for over 25 years providing vegetable seeds to professional growers.

Who says you can't win friends with salad

Nature has provided us with an amazing variety of vegetables and fruits, each with their own vibrant colour, unique flavours and built-in nutritional packages. That's the essence of 'Love My Salad' and the motivation to start this project. To create, share and enjoy fresh produce with family and friends. Importantly, it‘s also about increasing vegetbale consumption by raising the 'intrinsic value' and respect we place on vegetables within our daily lives.

What is your favourite salad? My favourite is this tomato salad - tasty tomatoes cut into bite-sized pieces and put on a sharing plate, add some bocconcini, then drizzel with virgin olive oil. Season with a little salt and pepper and serve with fresh basil leaves.
