Gemüsebau Carsten Knodt is a company entirely focused on producing premium-quality vegetables. For my wife and me, this means growing tomatoes with an intense aromatic taste and a high health factor. Our crops are LycoTom truss tomatoes, cocktail truss tomatoes and some specialties.

In our company, all production processes such as climate and irrigation steering are subject to this goal.

Lycopene is an important secondary plant compound beneficial to your health and an effective antioxidant. We grow varieties with a naturally high lycopene content. In some retail shops, consumers can also find our product under the brand name LycoTom.

Environmentally friendly with renewable energy

As a vegetable grower, we work with living plants, a natural product. Thus we feel responsible to produce in an eco-friendly manner. We therefore use renewable energy sources such as wood and waste vegetable oil. This way we have succeeded in going carbon neutral with growing our tomatoes.
