I like salad because there are so many ways to make it different, delicious, and healthy. Eating salad is one way to simply and healthfully add to your nutrition and lose weight. In hot weather it is a meal that requires no or little cooking.
I am 61 years old and have just been diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic. I have lost almost 50 pounds over the last several years and need to lose at least another 70. I sincerely hope losing the weight will mean that I will be able to go off the meds I have had to begin.
