• 1 cos (romaine) lettuce
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese
  • 1 200g tin of chunky tuna (in oil - Italian style)
  • Handful crushed walnuts (optional)
  • season with salt and pepper

A signature salad that can be enjoyed by the whole family.


  • Cut lettuce into bite-sized pieces
  • Grate carrot and cheese
  • Slice the capsicum into thin strips
  • Put all in a large bowl
  • Place the tuna with the oil into the salad
  • Sprinkle a handful of crushed walnuts over the top (optional)
  • Add the vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Give it a good mix and your done - enjoy!
