Swiss chard is really a ‘forgotten’ vegetable. It is known by other names such as silverbeet and spinach beet. Swiss chard tastes like spinach. It is a very healthy vegetable, containing vitamins A, C, K, B6 and B2. This is an easy and tasty salad with a wonderful honey mustard dressing shared by Gonny.

Rinse the lettuce and tear into pieces. Wash and dry the Swiss chard. Use small leaves whole, make large leaves smaller. Quarter the figs and distribute over the salad. Halve the dates and distribute over the salad. Scatter pieces of goat’s cheese over the salad.
