Cut and wash the red butterhead lettuce. Place it in a salad bowl.
Cut the pepper into small pieces and the tomatoes in half. Add to the bowl.
In another bowl mix the olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, grated lemon peel and crushed garlic to make a dressing.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Scatter the cheese over the salad.
