  • ½ Tbsp turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp apricot marmalade

Boboti is one of the most popular national dishes from South-Africa. We developed a salad with the special flavours from the original recipe, which is made with minced meat.

Preparation

  • Put the raisins in a small bowl, and cover with boiling water. Let them steep for 5-10 minutes and then drain them.
  • Heat oilve oil in a sauce pan and add the curry powder and kurkuma, fry for 3-5 minutes until fragrant then add the shredded cabbage and let simmer for 5 more minutes. Until crisp and tender. 
  • Let the cabbage cool down, add the apricot marmalade and top of with the slivered almonds.

This salad is delicious with fresh bread on the side or with a rice as a main meal.
