We offer lettuce for all markets and seasons including:
FULL HEAD - Traditional full-sized heads are larger framed, and they require more space to grow. They mature later and produce larger volumes of lettuce per head than mini heads.
MINI HEAD - Increase revenue by up to twice as much by growing mini heads over traditional head lettuce. Single-serving, compact heads are planted at higher density and mature earlier, allowing for faster turnaround time to market. A 10’ section of a 4.5’ bed can produce 360 mini heads versus 40 full-size heads.
BABY LEAF - The traditional way to produce salad mix. Seeds of head lettuce are grown at high density in the field and harvested leaf by leaf. They are cut at baby or immature leaf stage where full flavor and texture have not full developed. SALANOVA® - A new innovation in salad mix. It is 40% higher yielding, has better flavor and texture, and double the shelf life of traditional baby leaf, making it a better and more economical option. It’s unique. Grow as full size heads and, once harvested, easily cut with a knife or special cutting tool that separates the head into attractive, uniform leaves. Salanova® can be sold by the head or in pre-mixed bags offering more options for you.
MICRO GREENS - A high-end and quick turnaround option for specialty markets. Various crops, such as lettuce, greens, and beets are grown at very high density indoors and harvested in 2-3 weeks at the first true-leaf stage. Often used in restaurants as a garnish or sold by weight, as live trays, or in clam shells at market.
