New and Exciting Salad Ingredients

Love my Salad was invited to visit a vegetable variety demonstration event in Melbourne (Australia) by Rijk Zwaan Seeds who have been a strong supporter of Love My Salad from the very beginning.

Obviously, I was not going to miss the opportunity to check the new and exciting salad ingredients that are going to be available this season so I attended without hesitation. The event was like a 'fashion parade' of vegetables. Sure, I saw plenty of farm equipment and machinery around, but there is no doubt that the new vegetable varieties were the 'stars' everyone wanted to see. There were so many interesting salad ingredients available that it was a shame not to see a chef doing a demonstration on how to use those ingredients. Perhaps next year?
