Share a fresh fruit platter and enjoy time together
Since I have returned to work, it seems that time is always running out! So I thought I would share two ideas that have helped me find some good balance between the rigours of preparing meals, being a working mum and having fun!
- A good habit that we (or at least I am sure I will try...) will strive to do is to enjoy, at the end each meal, some fresh fruit. Just cut up fresh fruit and serve on a sharing plate. Apart from being a good thirst quencher it is a light and refreshing way to share a healthy, fresh treat together.
- During the week my motto is to choose meals that you can prepare in less than half an hour! Then on Saturday and Sunday indulge with more complex dishes.
