Tomatoes are red ripe and tasty. Try this idea for your next BBQ.

Simply thread one or two punnets of cherry, cherry truss or grape tomatoes onto skewers (buy yourself a set of reusable stainless steel ones) and pop them on the barbie (or under the grill) for a few minutes and serve as a great tasty side dish. Top with a spinkle of fresh basil. Beats the old dead horse (tomato sauce) hands down.
